Fresh Eggs

You have a carton of 100 eggs. Some are fresh and other are rotten. One fact is that there is at least one fresh egg in that container. It is also true that if you pick two eggs randomly from the carton, at least one of them will be rotten. How many fresh eggs are in the carton?

    1 fresh, 99 rotten. Or the random pick statement cannot be always true.
